Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team. The Project Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating project activities, under the direction of a Project Director (PD) & Vice President.

Responsibilities:

Information Specialist functions:

  • Responds to customer service requests via phone, email, and social media between set call center hours; and conducts necessary research to answer requests in a timely manner.
  • Researches new assistive technology products, writes descriptions, and indexes them for website publication.
  • Establish relationships with other partners/companies in same field by attending conferences and webinars and performing outreach.
  • Writes informational guides on various assistive technologies and market trends.

Administrative support functions:

  • Provides support, as needed, to project management staff with programmatic and administrative tasks related to call center operations, product database maintenance, and website and marketing activities.
  • Assists in managing social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest) and networking activities.
  • Assists with orienting, training and coaching new employees and interns.
  • Monitors and collects customer evaluation and feedbacks.

Team coordination functions:

  • Coordinates various assigned operations and marketing tasks with project team.
  • Collects and tracks contemplated changes for website from customers/project team in tracking tool.
  • Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; and identifying work process improvements.
  • Effectively and accurately communicates relevant project information to the project team.
  • Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and encourages this attitude in others.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills are paramount
  • Strong customer-service orientation
  • Ability to self-manage and multitask across various projects but also work as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Spanish fluency is a plus
