New Editions Recognized as a 2021 Top Workplace by the Washington Post

Falls Church, VA, June 18, 2021 – New Editions Consulting, Inc. has been recognized once again as one of the Top Workplaces by The Washington Post.

New Editions is listed #5 of the 80 small businesses recognized this year. The winners were announced online and in a special Top Workplaces magazine included in Friday’s, June 18th The Washington Post.

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“We are always pleased to be recognized by The Washington Post.  In 2020, I learned that we had been named a Top Workplace just as we were getting used to working from home. To move to #5 in the rankings, after a year of the challenges of working remotely during a pandemic, made me very proud.  Our top priority is our employees and during COVID, we have worked hard to keep our employees safe and engaged,” said Shelia Newman, President of New Editions.

She continued, “As a small woman-owned government contractor with a focus on contracts that improve people’s lives, it’s very important to us that our employees feel that we provide them with a positive workplace—even though that workplace has been their homes for the past 15 months, during this pandemic. We are always seeking new ways to better our employees’ experiences and are grateful that they are pleased with our efforts.”
