Section 508 Subject Matter Expertise Support for Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR)

Through a subcontract with Aveshka, Inc., New Editions provides Section 508 support services to the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR). We have been contracted to provide Section 508 consulting expertise to assist ASPR in such tasks as:

• improving the effectiveness and efficiency of Section 508 planning, design, development and testing activities throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
• providing Section 508 training for agency staff and contractors (virtual and onsite) across multiple applications;
• developing accessible wireframes and document templates; and
• providing interpretation consultation of legal requirements and the impact of Section 508 standards and strategic planning support.
