FMCSA National Registry Analyst

New Editions Consulting, Inc. is currently looking for an Analyst who provides operational support to a federal contract. This role involves providing audit support services to monitor the performance of medical examiners.  This includes reviewing and analyzing documentation from physical qualification examinations and medical records to ensure examinations are being conducted in accordance with regulations; conducting random and for cause reviews, including creating case reviews and managing through final determination.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Review documentation and determine all standards and requirements are met
  2. Write professional correspondence 
  3. Quality control of database and documents 
  4. Verify medical license information 
  5. Run queries and analyze data to determine project needs
  6. Communicate effectively with medical professionals
  7. Support other contract positions when needed
  8. Special projects as required

Job Requirements:

  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Exceptional at multitasking 
  • Detail oriented
  • Highly organized
  • Able to think critically & problem-solve 
  • Work successfully with minimal supervision 
  • Strong time-management skills & ability to manage competing priorities 
  • Comfortable in a fluid environment; easily managing shifting priorities 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Works well individually and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn
  • Bachelor’s Degree 

Position Type and Hours of Work
The position is currently fully remote, but may change at any time based on the needs of the contract. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30a to 5p EST, 40 hours per week. 

Clearance Requirements

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
